What are the phenomena of this charger in different charging stages?
1. When the charger is in the charging stage, the indicator light is red. 2. When the charger complete charging, the indicator light is green. 3. When the charger is in the wrong charging status, the indicator light flashes red.
Can this charger reactivate a protected lithium battery?
Yes! This charger features a lithium battery activation function. If your battery has triggered BMS protection and won't charge or discharge, the charger can safely wake it up and restore normal operation.
Can I use this charger with other batteries?
This charger is designed specifically for 12V (12.8V) LiFePO4 batteries. It can safely charge other 12V LiFePO4 batteries from different brands, as long as the maximum charging current does not exceed 10A. Not compatible with AGM, SLA, or other lead-acid batteries, which may damage the charger.
Why isn't the LED display accurate?
If the LED display isn't showing the correct readings, you can try calibrating it by following these steps: 1. Discharge the battery completely to 0%. 2. Use a compatible LiFePO4 battery charger or solar charge controller to fully charge the battery. If the issue persists, please contact us at support@drprepare.com for further assistance.
Can this battery be used as a starter battery?
No, it can't. This battery is designed for low to moderate continuous power applications that require stable energy storage and delivery, such as RVs, off-grid solar systems, and home energy storage. It is not suitable for applications that require high starting currents or power surges, such as engine cranking for cars or boats, or use in golf carts.
