I’ve been searching for a reliable, versatile power solution for my off-grid work shed to take the place of my power stations, and the Dr. Prepare 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 Battery with Hub is awesome! I also got the 100ah without the hub and digital screen to connect in parallel.
This is a game-changer for anyone who loves RV camping, or boondocking (which I do none of LOL) or needs a solid backup power option at home without the need for so much of an inverter. (this I do with and without)
First off, the 1280Wh capacity is incredible. I’ve powered my fridge, lights, and phone chargers without breaking a sweat. (this was the testing stage before the shed)
The included hub is pure genius—it’s like having a mini power station right at your fingertips. With multiple USB ports, 100w in and 12V outputs, and an Anderson port for solar input, (100 watts in and out but with solar and a 100-watt charger from the wall I got 143 watts in) it’s so easy to keep everything running smoothly. I paired it with (2) 100W solar panels, and it recharges while away or at work under the sun. It would be perfect for long trips where outlets are nowhere to be found.
The build quality is top-notch. It’s IP65 waterproof and V0 flame-retardant, so I don’t have to worry about it holding up in an unheated work shed. Plus, the reviews on this battery have been very positive, and a 10-year warranty? Yes, please! The built-in BMS with Texas Instruments tech gives me peace of mind, protecting against overcharging and temperature extremes. I’ve used it on very cold mornings, and it performs flawlessly every time.

Hub and Battery Separate Packages

Just FYI, the battery and hub came in separately as of September 2024. Still worth 5 stars as the product is very easy to use solar charging with not having a charge controller when using a portable solar blanket. I think this is the only battery product that has this feature
