DAP01 HEPA Air Purifier with Pet Mode

The Dr.Prepare HEPA Air Purifier is a small but powerful unit that works really well for keeping the air fresh and clean. It’s quiet on normal and auto modes, but does get a bit louder on High or Pet Mode—which is expected when it’s working harder.
I love the auto mode—it adjusts fan speed automatically based on air quality, so I can just set it and forget it. Despite its compact size, it moves a good amount of air and noticeably improves air quality.
Overall, it’s a smart, efficient purifier that’s perfect for bedrooms, offices, or smaller living spaces.

I ordered this air purifier to use in my bedroom, and I’ve been pleased with it thus far. Keep in mind you have to remove each side and uncover the filters from their plastic then reinsert into both sides if it. It runs relatively quiet, especially when it’s on auto. I have noticed what I believe is less allergens around (typically my nose is stuffy - but not lately). The light functions fine, as do the speeds which I’ve gone through multiple times. I like the modern look of it and it definitely matches the product images. The only loud noise is the power button IMO. Overall it’s been a solid purifier and does a good job, though If anything new does happen to occur, I’ll return to further update this review.

This unit was a pleasant surprise - it is well designed even down to the smaller details like the easy controls, nice looking display which shows the current particulate matter PPM along with a color coded ring of light around the display to quickly show air quality (dirty/medium/clean). Even the power cord from the power supply (24V/2A DC) is nicely braided with white fabric so it looks good if you have to place it in a visible area.
Operation is very quiet - you can't even hear it on the lowest setting which is an unexpected plus. Power consumption is very low only about 10 watts on low. Filters are easy to remove and even to clean and reuse. And the manual - well written in English with actually-useful instructions. Definitely a win!

Easy to set up — just make sure to remove the plastic wrap from both filters before using! I love that it has a lock feature so when my toddler presses the buttons, nothing changes. It’s lightweight, simple to use, and the air truly feels cleaner after running it. I also appreciate the option to add essential oils — such a nice touch for freshening up the space!

I’ve been running this air purifier for a little over a week now, mostly in the main living area where we spend the most time. Right away, I noticed that it moves a good amount of air without being loud or distracting. It’s a decent size—not too bulky, but big enough to feel like it’s doing something in a larger space.
The dual-side air intake is a nice touch since it doesn’t have to be perfectly centered in the room to work efficiently. I like that it has a washable pre-filter, which should help cut down on how often I need to replace the HEPA filter itself. The controls are simple to use, and the air quality sensor seems to respond quickly whenever I’ve cooked or opened windows.
I haven’t used the pet mode much yet, but it’s good to have as an option. The overall build quality feels solid, and it hasn’t given me any issues so far. I’ve mostly kept it on auto mode and let it adjust on its own, and that seems to be working just fine for everyday use.
So far, it’s been a low-maintenance way to keep the air feeling fresher inside, and it’s been doing what I expected it to do.
