【Grade A+ High Density Cells, 200A BMS】 Dr.Prepare 12V 300Ah LiFePO4 Battery is built with Grade A+ high energy density cells for stable, long-lasting power. With a robust 200A continuous discharge rate, this lithium battery easily handles high-power appliances. Advanced BMS offers full protection against overcharge, over-discharge, short circuits, and low/high temperature.
【Upgrade to Dr.Prepare LiFePO4 Batteries】 Dr.Prepare lithium batteries offer a major upgrade over traditional SLA batteries — lasting up to 10 years, compared to just 1–3 years for most SLA options. Weighing only 57 lbs, this 12V 300Ah LiFePO4 battery is 70% lighter than three 100Ah SLA batteries combined, while delivering more consistent and reliable power. It also features a built-in 200A BMS for advanced protection — something SLA batteries simply can't match.
【Series & Parallel Ready, Scalable Power Expansion】 Supports both series and parallel configurations. Build a 24V, 36V, or 48V battery bank with series wiring, or expand to 12V 600Ah, 900Ah, or 1200Ah with parallel connections. Link up to 16 batteries (4P4S) to create a powerful 61.44kWh home backup system—perfect for outages, hurricane season, or running high-demand appliances.
【Charging & Discharging】 Supports solar charging (must be used with a charge controller) and compatible AC-to-DC LiFePO4 battery chargers. Do not use general-purpose or SLA chargers, as they may cause damage. Optimal charging current: 60A (max: 100A). Max continuous discharge current: 200A.
【Important Reminders】
1. Ensure the battery terminals are securely fastened. Loose terminals can lead to heat accumulation and potential battery damage.
2. After a full discharge at a continuous 200A, avoid immediate recharging at 100A, as this may trigger high-temperature charging protection.
3. Optimal charging involves a 60A current for this lithium battery. While the maximum charging current stands at 100A, exceeding this limit can result in a shortened battery lifespan.

Can it be used in cold weather?
Yes — the Dr.Prepare 12V 300Ah LiFePO4 battery is equipped with low-temperature cut-off protection.
Charging cut-off range: 23℉ to 41℉ (-5℃ to 5℃)
Discharging cut-off range: -13℉ to 5℉ (-25℃ to -15℃)
The battery will automatically resume operation once the temperature rises above the cut-off point, helping to prevent damage in extreme cold conditions.
Can I use my sealed lead-acid battery charger to charge this LiFePO4 battery?
No, you can't. Using a sealed lead-acid (SLA) charger may cause irreversible damage to the battery. You must use a compatible LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) AC-to-DC charger.
If you're using a solar off-grid system, you can charge the battery with solar panels and a charge controller that supports LiFePO4 batteries. Make sure to set the controller to the LiFePO4 battery type and configure the correct charging voltage.
Does this battery have low voltage cut-off protection?
Yes, it does. The battery will automatically shut off when the discharge voltage drops below 9.2V to protect against over-discharge. It will recover once the voltage rises above 11V.
If the battery enters low voltage protection mode, follow these steps to restore it:
1. Disconnect all wiring.
2. Use a LiFePO4-compatible charger or solar charge controller with an activation function.
3. Make sure the ambient temperature is above 41℉ (5℃) and charge the battery until the voltage exceeds 11V.
Will the battery come with terminals? And if not, what size are the connector terminals?
Yes, the battery comes with a pair of M8 × 14mm terminals.
Can I charge the battery directly using a solar panel?
No, you can't. When charging this battery with a solar panel, you must use a solar charge controller (either PWM or MPPT) between the panel and the battery. Directly connecting the panel to the battery can lead to unstable power output, which may damage the battery or connected devices.
Can this battery be used as a starter battery?
No, it can't. This battery is designed for low to moderate continuous power applications that require stable energy storage and delivery, such as RVs, off-grid solar systems, and home energy storage.
It is not suitable for applications that require high starting currents or power surges, such as engine cranking for cars or boats, or use in golf carts.

These batteries replaced two 100Ah Dr Prepare's that had been in use for a couple of years
I picked up a pair of the 300Ah LiFePO4's for our 320 T@B teardrop. After fully charging, I did a test running the Air8 air conditioner. Stopped the test when the shunt said it had pulled 600Ah from the bank, but could have gone longer.
These batteries replaced two 100Ah Dr Prepare's that had been in use for a couple of years, so I trust this brand. The 100Ah batteries will now ride in the back of the Jeep powering a small 12V freezer.

Very Good Deal For Great Powerful Battery.
This big battery that cost around a dollar per amp, not per watt. I have use it for running my small microwave over as 100% off grid. This battery has came in almost dead, that has taken so long while to charge it with 20 amp charger. If you use it on average electric car, that will give you around 10 to 12 miles range. At first I had saw Dr Prepair, at first; I thought it Dr. Pepper HA-HA. After I had saw from Will's on YouTube, as he is is impressed of the built quality. This single battery is so great for trolling motor for you boat with 3 times longer run time that much heavier lead acid battery. You will getting around 1 extra MPH of speed.

Great for inexpensive system
This battery has been a game-changer for my trailer setup—outstanding performance for the price. To put it to the test, I powered a small cube fridge through a 2000W inverter, and it ran for an incredible 80 hours on a single charge. The trailer's built-in converter/charger had the battery back at 100% by morning. Now I can travel with the fridge running non-stop and enjoy worry-free off-grid camping for days at a time.

Just great
It just works—no complaints so far. I’m running two of these in series for a 24V setup, and the power delivery is rock-solid. Best part? Zero setup or fuss—just plug and play. For peace of mind, I pre-connected a shunt to monitor performance, but honestly, it’s been hassle-free. Definitely buying more soon.
