DAP02 HEPA Air Purifier

I am really amazed at how much of a difference having an air purifier in my bedroom makes. I really didn’t believe that it would take the smells out of the air, especially when my husband makes homemade pizza. He cranks the oven up all the way and sometimes the toppings drip on the bottom of the oven and we get a big smokey mess. I have asthma and smoke really bothers me so I close the door to our bedroom and turn this little baby on. It doesn’t take long and the smell is completely gone. It also is amazing at removing dust and cat hair from the air. I cleaned the filter out after about a month and I couldn’t believe all the gunk it had in there! Was I really breathing all that nasty stuff into my lungs?! So glad I got this.

Super quiet, seems to work! I've had this running for over a month now and am ready to review it carefully.
I like the design of this air filtration device, pleasing low light glow from the intuitive control panel. Good colors in lighting and design. Very quiet and doesn't distract from the home when it's running on high.
There was never a smell or chemical odor from this, which is very nice as it's designed to improve air quality.
I haven't used the timer feature as I just leave it running all the time. I do feel that there is an improvement in the overall quality of air in my home. It moves a good amount of air on the highest power setting, I think one per level of my home is sufficient to keep the air filtered.
I like the washable pre-filter that gives me something to easily maintain and extend the life of the filter. I see a difference between the first two washes, less dust. This could also be fall moving in and our doors being open less.
I've been searching for air purifiers for a long time and the price point on this is Awesome! I'm glad to have this in my home!

I was skeptical that this lightweight air purifier would make much of a difference, but where I am using it, it seems to be performing better than I imagined.
I have a workshop/gardening building that is my zen area. I smoke sometimes and when I would come in the next day, I could smell cigarettes .
Since I have had this running, I don’t notice that smell!

Finally not waking up with an itchy dry nose. This has helped me tremendously. Seems like you feel the fresh air. So happy it helped removed the dust and skin particles from dry skin from the air. The noise is loud or distracting in any way. I would recommend. It’s been a month so hopefully it has good longevity. I’ll update if anything changes.

It's important to consider the size of the room for this air purifier. As it it says in the description, it is for Bedrooms, Dorms, Offices, Apartments. I think that is fair. This will not clean your whole house or even a whole floor, it's sized for single rooms and for that it works well.
Especially on the lowest fan setting it is very quiet. I definitely cannot hear it over my PC in my home office. At the medium fan setting and above I can hear it. But even on the lowest setting it definitely does a good job cleaning the air in the office.
It's a small fan and will fit just about anywhere, including on a shelf, but just keep in mind that the controls are on top.
This is a basic unit but it is easy to use and seems to work well.
