This dehumidifier does a really solid job and is a great option for larger spaces. It’s rated for up to around 2000–2600 sq. ft., and it actually makes a noticeable difference in humidity levels, especially in rooms that tend to feel damp or stuffy. After running it for a bit, the air feels more comfortable and less heavy, which is a huge plus.
I like that it comes with both a bucket and a drain hose option. The bucket is easy to remove and empty, but having the continuous drain setup is super convenient if you don’t want to keep checking it. The humidistat and different modes make it easy to customize depending on what you need, whether that’s everyday use, drying clothes, or targeting a really humid space.
It’s also pretty straightforward to use. The controls are simple, and the 24-hour timer is helpful if you want it running only at certain times. It’s not overly complicated, which makes it easy to set up and forget about.

This might be able to do a basement with the help of another dehumidifier, but not by itself. Smaller than I thought, and more expensive than bigger and better units I've seen. I'm going to have to get another dehumidifier to help it out. It does take a little tank of water out of the air over the course of a day, but nothing close to all of it. This is a great little dehumidifier and it definitely does the job. We placed it in our living room area so there is about 1,000 square feet and it is able to get the humidity down to whatever we set it to. It also has a setting to help dry out clothes after washing them which is awesome for drying delicates. The size is compact and is not really noticeable and the noise level is just fine; it sounds like a small fan running in the background. Once the humidity level is achieved or the reservoir is full, the dehumidifier will automatically shut off until the tank is emptied or the humidity raises again. It does come with a hose to drain it directly if possible but where we have it that is not an option. The reservoir is only about a half-gallon so we are having to empty this about every 6 hours during the day and at night it is always full by morning and has shut off. It also takes a lot of energy but overall it definitely does the job and pulls that unwanted moisture out of the air which is very nice and noticeable.

My first thought was that this is a little pricey for a dehumidifier.

I did a check bench but with our gas furnace there isn't much to draw out in a few minutes but a few drops.
Motor sound is fairly quiet and after a little bit becomes part of the background, usually takes a day or two to acclimate to new sounds.
